Mei Tais are Great!

My four year old was upset and nothing but a cuddle would do, so my husband (who was busy) carried her in the mei tai.  She rarely asks to be carried now (only a few times in the last year) but the mei tai still comes in handy!

My four year old is too heavy for me to carry but I still carry my 15 month old fairly often. She likes to be carried when she is tired, feeling unwell, or if someone unfamiliar comes to visit. I always bring a sling when I go shopping, just in case, and if I am going somewhere the stroller will be a hassle to take, for example going for a walk over uneven ground or to a crowded place.

Hipababy toddler mei tais are great for heavy kids. The body is wider and slightly taller than the baby size mei tai and are made from heavyweight fabric.
